The area could get another dose of snow tonight (Tuesday). The National Weather Service issued a statement concerning the potential of a coating to three inches of snow likely for much of the WNBF listening area.

The National Weather Service statement indicates snow could be heavy at times . Temperatures are in the low 30's to upper 20's and that could cause the falling snow to stick on roadways, streets, sidewalks and driveways and cause slippery conditions.

The snow event is expected to diminish by midnight but could cause slippery and dangerous driving conditions any time this evening.  Temperatures will turn much colder over the next couple of days.  Temperatures are predicted to only reach the mid teens for highs on Thursday and Friday.  Lows overnight later in the week could get as low as three above zero.
