The National Agriculture Statistics Service says it has found more farms in New York State than ever before have internet service.

The report says 69% of Empire State farms had internet access, compared to 66 % in 2011.

The numbers are slightly higher than the national rate.

The N.A.S.S. says the number of farmers using the internet for their business, however is down from 42% two years ago to 39%.
