More Honors for Jasmine Sina of the Binghamton Bearcats

Standout freshman point guard Jasmine Sina has been named the America East Rookie of the Week.  It is the second time she has earned the honor this season. Her teammate Imani Watkins has earned three such honors.

Sina scored 15 points, had five steals and grabbed five rebounds in one game this week against the Bucknell Bison. Heading into the week Sina was ranked 11th in the nation with 3.3 three-point field goals made per game.

The Bearcats finished their non-conference schedule with a record of 2-11. They open America East play this January 3 at 2 p.m. when they host UMass Lowell at the Events Center.  Air is set for 1:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
