The Binghamton City School District continues to have a run of what seems to be bad luck with its school buildings.

Days after students and staff were able to return to the Calvin Coolidge Elementary Schoolwhen asbestos removal had been completed, district officials have notified families with children attending Woodrow Wilson Elementary and West Middle School that asbestos contamination has also been found in those buildings.

In both of the latest cases, the district says the material is in areas that are not accessible to students and faculty and has not been disturbed so the buildings will remain open and in use.

The discovery comes after an inspection of Binghamton School District facilities was ordered following the Coolidge contamination discovery.
