Rafael Montero is tonight's scheduled starter on the mound for the Binghamton Mets when they host the Hartford Yard Goats at 7:05 (air at 6:50 PM on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Montero last pitched in Binghamton in the 2013 season when he went 7-3.  Battling back from arm problems he was 4-6 in Triple-A Las Vegas with a 7.20 ERA in 16 starts.  Still considered one of the organization's top pitching prospects, Montero will get a chance to try to return to form in the friendly confines of NYSEG Stadium.

Last night Binghamton got a three-run home run from Phillip Evans to power the way to a 7-5 victory.  Champ Stuart hit his first Double-A home run and went 3-5 for the B-Mets.

Amed Rosario back from his appearance in the Futures Game in San Diego went 2-4 at the plate.  He is 27-68 and batting at a .424 clip with Binghamton since his call-up from St. Lucie.
