The Winter Storm Warning issued by the National Weather Service for the entire region remains in effect through 7 a.m. December 11.

Officials say there is still a potential for heavy snow with the most amounts projected for the higher elevations.

Motorists are encouraged to give themselves extra time to take it slow as they travel.

Several school districts opted to close December 10 while emergency services officials reported only a couple minor crashes in the morning.

There had been fears of power outages should there be heavy, wet snow combined with high winds but New York State Electric and Gas was only dealing with a few dozen interruptions in Delaware County.
