The car belonging to a Norwich woman, who disappeared on her way to work during flash flooding Friday has been located in Chenango County. But 51 year old Krista Kosowsky is still missing.

Norwich police say the woman left her home in Chenango County  at around 11:15 a.m. June 28 to go to work in Clinton in Oneida County, about 40 miles away, but never arrived.

Police say workers at the Norwich Wal-mart spotted the woman's gold Pontiac Grand Prix Monday evening. Authorities confirmed it was her vehicle and searched the surrounding area without finding any trace of Kosowsky.

Kosowsky was reported missing by her husband after she failed to show up at work by 3 p.m.  Her route would have taken her in an area with flooding conditions and several road closures.

Police say the woman is diabetic and most likely did not have any medication with her.
