Bob Joseph/WNBF News

A 23-year-old Lisle man who was reported missing has been in touch with his family.

Authorities say Sean Rake made contact with relatives Thursday afternoon.

According to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, Rake told them he was in New York City and was planning to return soon.

Investigators had said Rake did not show up at his place of employment in Conklin on Monday.

The man’s car later was found in a parking lot in Endicott.
