Snow continues to cause travel issues in the region.

Emergency Services Dispatchers and Police agencies have reported some mainly minor crashes from February 4-5, blamed on weather conditions.

One crash at around 6:45 p.m. February 4 closed the exit from Route 201 in Johnson City to Riverside Drive and Floral Avenue as a car slid and took down a light pole.

The National Weather Service says in the 24 hours of February 4, five inches of snow was recorded at the Greater Binghamton Airport with more snow into the next morning.

While road crews have been out plowing and salting, there have been several reports continuing in the municipalities of snow removal efforts being impeded by cars parked too far into the road or in violation of winter parking rules.
