Two Florida residents are accused of being in possession of about 50 forged and cloned credit cards in Broome County.

30 year old Yadel Baez and 34 year old Yandy Arias of Miami are charged with five counts each of felony forgery.

Broome County Sheriff’s Detectives say the pair allegedly used one of the forged credit cards to make a purchase at a local post office and the men were staying at a Town of Dickinson hotel.

The Detectives and United States Postal Inspectors searched the men’s room and seized the forged and cloned credit cards and $6,000 in cash.

Baez and Arias were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail but the investigation is continuing and more charges are expected.
