Two people are accused of making methamphetamine at a residence in the Town of Homer.

Acting on an anonymous tip, Cortland County Sheriff’s Officials raided the home on Route 90 January 5.

Officers say it appeared a small number of people were involved in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

33 year old Gordon Sutton, who lives at the home, and 36 year old Dennis Murray Junior of Cortland are charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of methamphetamine.

Sutton was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $10,000 bail while  Murray was jailed without bail.

Officials say there were no injuries.  They secured the residence and the Cortland County SPCA was called in to take custody of two dogs on the property.
