A Cortland County woman is accused of manufacturing methamphetamine at a home on Route 11 in the Town of Virgil.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say 28 year old Ashley Huss is charged with felony manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory materials.

Deputies responding to Huss’s home say they found several pieces of evidence indicating a meth lab.

An environmental clean up agency was contacted to remove the hazardous material while the Virgil Fire Department stood by on the scene.

Officials say the investigation is continuing and more charges are possible.  Huss was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $10,000 bail.
