Meth Lab Busted in Town of Tioga
Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Tioga County Sheriff’s Deputies say they found a meth lab at a home on Waverly Road in the Town of Tioga.
Authorities say they responded to a call about a suspicious person Friday, April 1 and found homemade lab equipment, chemicals used in methamphetamine production, meth dissolved in solvent, hypodermic needles and a small amount of completed meth.
36 year old Scott Cole of Owego is charged with unlawful manufacture of meth and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument while 25 year old Casandra DiMarco of Owego is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal nuisance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and driving without a license.
Both were sent to the Tioga County Jail on $50,000 bail.
The State Police contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team was also called in to deal with the hazardous materials.
