With ominous sounding forecasts for much of the Northeast and our listening area the threat of severe weather has already forced the altering of many events. Some events has been cancelled. For concerns over church services and meetings it is suggested you contact organizers or those in charge.

The heavy snow warning has effected a number of sporting events. The Binghamton Devils announced that their home game today (Saturday) with the Syracuse Crunch has been postponed and will be played on Tuesday, February 26. Binghamton University's basketball teams have moved up their start times for games against the Vermont Catamounts.

The women's game at the Events Center that was scheduled for a 2:00 P.M. start now begins at noon (air at 11:45 A.M. on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM WYOS). The men are in Burlington, Vermont for their 1:00 P.M. game. Originally scheduled for 7:00 P.M. the game was moved to early afternoon. Air is set for 12:45 P.M. on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

The Binghamton Bulldogs have announced that their home game versus the Syracuse Stallions set for tonight has been postponed. That game is now scheduled for February 23rd.
