Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

This is the weekend where we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives to protect our Country and its freedoms. My Great Uncle Robert Exton did just that during World War II and he will be on my mind this weekend. Please join me in observing this holiday.

Memorial Day Parades/Events:

Susquehanna, PA - 11 am Monday down Main Street.

Binghamton -           2 pm Monday starting at the American legion Post 80 on Main Street.

Endicott -                 10:30 am Monday down Washington Ave. then service at Veterans Memorial Park at 11 am.

Windsor -                10:30 am Monday starting at the First Niagara Bank and proceeding to Riverside Cemetery where there will be a ceremony at 11:00 a.m.

Town of Maine -       9 am Monday at Maine Memorial School.

Owego -                  Monday: Roll Call Memorial – Remembering and Honoring deceased Tioga County veterans – starts at 9 a.m. at the Tioga County Veterans Memorial. The parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. from the Owego Police Station on Temple Street.

Bainbridge -            Saturday beginning at 9 am. Clinton Canoe Regatta,(race, fair and fire works) Ross Park Zoo Mobile, community wide yard sales and Memorial Day Parade.

Greene -                 10 am Monday on Genesee Street to the cemetery.

Norwich -                11 am Monday on Main Street.

Johnson City           10 am Monday from Floral Ave to the cemetery.

Oxford                      Monday. 8 am wreath laying and rifle salute at St. Joseph's cemetery. 9:30 am parade the roll call of the departed. Chicken barbecue 11 am after parade by Sons of the American Legion on South Washington Ave.

McDonough             11 am Monday.

Sidney                       9 am Monday.
