Bob Joseph/WNBF News

Town of Owego Supervisor, Donald Castellucci Junior is sponsoring his 17th annual memorial blood drive in memory of his parents December 18.  The drive takes place at the Owego Elks Club from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Each year since his father’s death on December 25, 1997, Castellucci has held the blood drive in his honor and extended the memory to include his mother who died of cancer in 2010.

Appointments can be made by calling 1-800-redcross or at www.redcrossblood.org.

A rigatoni and meatball dinner will be served to all donors.

The family is also asking a food item be brought to be donated to Tioga County Rural Ministry.  Cash donations for the Ministry will also be accepted.
