Meet the Congressional Candidates Forum Falls Victim to Sandy

Hemera
The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce is among the cancellation casualties of Hurricane Sandy.

The Chamber had planned on hosting the forum at 8 p.m. October 20th at Broome Community College with Representative candidates Richard Hanna and Dan Lamb.

Almost a day before the planned discussion, the Chamber called off the forum due to inclement weather forecasts for much of the week.

Hanna and Lamb are seeking election for the newly created 22nd Congressional district that includes nearly all of Broome County.

Hanna currently represents the 24th district while prior to his candidace, Dan Lamb has been a long-time aid to Congressman Maurice Hinchey, who is retiring this year.

The planned forum was to be co-hosted by the Chamber and the Civic Engagement Advisory Board at B.C.C.
