The Matthews Auto Group held their grand re-opening Friday at their GM Center, 3721 Old Vestal Road, Vestal.  Following months of renovations inside and outside their Buick, Cadillac and GMC dealership the Matthews Auto Group held a grand re-opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony.

Remodeling includes a new showroom and waiting area, an expanded service department and greeting area, and free Wi-Fi.  In addition customers are able to get free soda and coffee and watch large screen television while waiting for service.

Rob Matthews, President of the Matthews Auto Group, presided over the renovations for the project.  Also on hand were numerous local dignitaries including Senator Tom Libous and Vestal Town Supervisor John Schaffer.

Matthews Auto Group employs over 160 people.  The renovation plan also involved Matthews Chevrolet in the same complex as the Buick, Cadillac and GMC dealership.  That project was completed last year.
