Matt Harvey is working his way back to the Major Leagues and is scheduled to make the start on the mound tonight at 6:35 (air at 6:20 on News Radio 1290 WNBF) when the Binghamton Rumble Ponies host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.  Harvey has battled arm and shoulder injuries since Tommy John surgery caused him to miss all of the 2014 season.

Harvey pitched for the Binghamton Mets in 2011 where he posted a 5-3 record and a 4.53 earned run average.  This is his third start since landing on the disabled list on July 6th.  He was shutdown on June 16 after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his scapula that required surgery.  His record with New York this season is 4-3 with a 5.25 ERA in 70 innings of work.

In his last outing for the Brooklyn Cyclones last Wednesday Harvey pitched three innings, faced ten batters, threw 36 pitches and gave up no runs.  He is expected to go longer depending on his pitch count tonight.
