Two people were arrested as police confiscated drugs and thousands of dollars in cash at a home in an upscale Endwell neighborhood.

Authorities say 45-year-old Peter Ruff and 22-year-old Derrick Jones were taken into custody in the raid on Autumn Drive early Friday morning.

The house where the search warrant was executed is near Maine-Endwell Middle School.

According to the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force, several ounces of marijuana and cocaine were found in the raid. Police also seized more than $6,000 and drug packaging materials.

Ruff was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Jones was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and third-degree criminal sale of marijuana.

Both men were arraigned in Union town court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
