Binghamton police are investigating another stabbing incident on the city's East Side.

An 18-year-old man reportedly was attacked Monday afternoon near Rite Aid Pharmacy at 67 Robinson Street.

Witnesses said a group of four teenagers or young men had been involved in a dispute moments before the stabbing, which happened around 3:30 p.m.

The moving altercation continued east along Robinson Street until one of the participants pulled what appeared to be a knife.

The man with the stab wound was found by police and medics just west of Whitney Avenue, behind the Rite Aid store. He was near the exit to the store's "drive-thru" window.

The latest attack happened about two blocks east of an April 19 stabbing on Robinson Street.
