Authorities in Cortland County say a man who was reported missing on Wednesday has been located.

According to the sheriff's department, 72-year-old Phillip Leet was last seen at the Walmart store in the town of Cortlandville.

Leet was believed to be driving a white 2007 Chevrolet Impala. That vehicle was spotted traveling north on Route 13 near the Walmart store.

Investigators had said Leet might have been disoriented because of dementia.

Sheriff's officials say Leet had been found safe and sound Saturday in the Village of Homer and was turned over to family members.
