Man Pulled From Chenango River in Binghamton

City of Binghamton Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to a river rescue February 8.

Police and a City Fire Ambulance were at the scene at the intersection of Main and Front Streets at around 4 a.m.

Police confirmed that a man had been pulled from the Chenango River.

There were no details about the man’s condition or how he ended up in the river.

Police noted there are several fraternity houses located in that area on Front Street.
