Man Jailed After Cortland County Dispute

State police say a man from Cayuga County was arrested after a dispute in the town of Preble.

Authorities say 25-year-old Kenneth Kemp of Moravia was charged with menacing.

Troopers say Kemp was arrested Sunday following a dispute on Route 281.

In addition to menacing, Kemp also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

State police say Kemp was arraigned in Preble town court. He was sent to Cortland County Jail on $300 bail.
