A Broome County man is under indictment after allegedly burglarizing four Binghamton businesses and threatening a police officer.

The Broome County District Attorney’s office says a Grand Jury has indicted 60 year old Mark Tanner on four counts of felony burglary and felony menacing a Police officer.

Tanner was arrested following break-ins at JR Automotive Service on Robinson Street, Fairview Cleaners on Court Street, Mr. Tire on Court Street and Broome Recycling on Court Street between July 5 and the 12.

Tanner also allegedly displayed a knife to police officers.  Prosecutors say they believe Tanner knew the people he was threatening were police officers.
