Prosecutors say 41-year-old Santonio Jones was found guilty Thursday of two felony counts of second-degree robbery.

Police had said Jones was suspected of stealing cash from two people at gunpoint around 10:30 p.m. on May 23.

The men, who were Endicott village workers, had been approached by the robber while they were in a vehicle in the 400 block of North Street.

Investigators said the suspect ran away. No injuries were reported in the incident.

A police officer spotted Jones on North Street a few minutes after the heist happened. Detectives said the stolen cash and a BB pistol were recovered.

According to the Broome County District Attorney's office, Jones faces seven to fifteen years in state prison. Sentencing has been scheduled for January 31.
