A man wanted on a nation-wide warrant for drug activity will spend three years in New York State prison after being sentenced in Broome County Court for having a homemade explosive and methamphetamine in Endwell.

23 year old Jeffrey Blunk was arrested in October after police surrounded a home on Luther Street.

Authorities had acted on information from the nation-wide warrant issued in Illinois  allegeing Blunk was involved in meth activity in that state where authorities uncovered a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in Geneseo in July.  Officials also found a homemade bomb.  There are still charges pending in that case.

Prosecutors say Blunk’s mother lives in Illinois but, when the 23 year old was arrested in Broome County last fall, his father was living in Endwell.

During the October raid, police found methamphetamine oil and homemade explosives in a basement apartment.
