Man Charged with Assault in Tioga Domestic Dispute

A 31-year-old man was sent to Tioga County Jail following a domestic incident in the town of Barton.

Authorities say Daniel Mazzarese of Chemung was charged with third-degree assault.

According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, the dispute happened at 304 Stone Quarry Road.

Mazzarese was arraigned in Waverly village court. He was ordered held on $2,500 bail.
