According to WBNG-TV, Brian Dornblaser was charged with third-degree arson. He is suspected of setting a blaze that raced through a storage building at 255 Front Street.

Dornblaser was arraigned in Owego town court and sent to Tioga County Jail without bail.

The fire was reported around 12:30 p.m. Sunday. It was confined to the small structure located behind a large two-and-a-half story house.

Flames filled the interior of the building before firefighters arrived. Smoke from the blaze could be seen for a considerable distance.

Firefighters carried some furniture out of the burning building. The fire was knocked down after about 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The property is owned by Rehabilitation Support Services, which is based in the Albany area.
