Man Charged In Johnson City Parking Lot Robbery
An Endicott man has been accused of grabbing a shopping bag containing prescription drugs from a person in a Johnson City drug store parking lot.
Authorities say 30-year-old Todd Corey was taken into custody shortly after this morning’s robbery.
Investigators say a state trooper who was not in uniform saw Corey take the bag from a man in the parking lot of the Walgreens store on Main Street.
Corey is said to have run from the scene. Police set up a perimeter and the suspect was found by officers near Route 17.
Corey was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
