Man Charged In Endicott Apartment Building Robbery

An Endicott man has been arrested in connection with a reported robbery inside a Washington Avenue apartment building.

Authorities say 18-year-old Karim Lebron of East Main Street was taken into custody shortly after the incident.

According to detectives, a 37-year-old man was threatened in the hallway of the apartment building early Friday afternoon.

The suspect reportedly took the man's wallet from his pocket. The robber is said to have fled on foot.

Police officers located Lebron a few minutes later and arrested him without incident.

The man who said he was robbed was not hurt. Investigators say his wallet was recovered.

Lebron was sent to Broome County Jail without bail after his arraignment.
