A Broome County man was arrested by state police after a reported disturbance in the town of Union.

Authorities say 21-year-old Marquis Orr of Binghamton was charged with disorderly conduct.

According to police, the arrest followed a dispute on North Willis Avenue in Endwell.

Troopers say after Orr arrived at the location to pick up someone, he started screaming obscenities from the middle of the street.

Police say Orr was repeatedly directed to cease. When he didn't stop, he was arrested.

Orr was ordered to appear in Union town court September 10.
