A Binghamton man is facing several charges after Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute on North Louisa Street in the Town of Dickinson at 5:40 p.m. April 8.

33 year old Glenn Chambers is charged with felony criminal contempt for violating an order of protection as well as misdemeanor counts of menacing, assault, criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Deputies say the victim claimed Chambers had threatened her with a knife before breaking a back door, stealing property and fleeing.

Chambers was taken into custody without incident a short distance away but became uncooperative at the Broome County Jail, attempting to kick Deputies and Corrections Officers.

He’s being held without bail.
