A Johnson City man was jailed after he allegedly walked onto the porch of a village home and exposed himself.

Police on Thursday announced the arrested of 30-year-old Worth Brown. He was charged with public lewdness, a misdemeanor.

Authorities said officers were sent to a North Side residence to investigate a report of a suspicious man. They said Brown had been walking around the house on Virginia Avenue and then went onto the back porch. He allegedly committed a "lewd act" while sitting on the porch.

Officers located Brown a short distance from the residence. He was arraigned in Johnson City village court and sent to Broome County Jail.
