Make-A-Wish Central New York and Dunkin' Donuts are teaming together to raise funding for the organization.  Today (April 29) through Friday, May 6, participating Dunkin' Donuts locations are given a specially-designed blue-frosted donut to anyone who makes a donation of $1.00 or more to Make-A-Wish.

In addition to the week-long campaign there will be a walk and run held tomorrow (Saturday) on campus at Binghamton University to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  The 5K Walk and Run forms in the East Gym Parking Lot. Registration begins at 12:45 PM with the walk/run scheduled for a 1:30 PM start.  The event is hosted by Wishmakers on Campus in conjunction with Alpha Phi Omega and Kappa Sigma.  Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite super-hero garb to provide additional inspiration to those taking part.

Make-A-Wish Central New York grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses and medical problems.  The Central New York region encompasses 15 counties in the state, including Broome, Tioga, Chenango and  Tompkins counties.
