A man accused of killing his girlfriend in their home at the Nanticoke Valley Trailer Park in the Town of Maine in December is asking for some time to consider a plea deal.

33 year old Michael Fiocco was charged with murder after 34 year old Shannon Laskaris was found lying dead in the bedroom of the couple’s mobile home.

Investigators say Laskaris had been strangled.

Responding officers say Fiocco met them at the door of the home after he had called for an ambulance and led them to Laskaris’ body.

Law enforcement officials say they had responded to the address on several occasions for domestic violence complaints against both the man and the woman.

Fiocco was in court October 8 to ask for additional time to consider the plea deal.

He’s being held without bail in the Broome County Jail.
