M.A.S.H. Camp Coming to Lourdes Hospital

M.A.S.H Camp is coming to Lourdes Hospital for students entering 8th and 9th grade this fall.  Lourdes is giving students the opportunity to spend two days in the world of healthcare inside a hospital setting.

M.A.S.H. Camp will be held on July 30 and 31 at Lourdes Hospital.  M.A.S.H. stands for Medical Academy of Science and Health.  Lourdes Hospital is combining with the Central New York Area Health Education Center (CNYAHEC).  The goal is to address the goal of helping to alleviate the shortage of health professionals by encouraging youth to pursue careers related to health care.

Part of the M.A.S.H Camp will be hands-on workshops and all campers will receive a set of hospital scrubs to wear and various educational materials.  Space is limited for the camp.  Deadline for application is Friday, May 22.  Applications and additional information can be obtained at www.cnyahec.com.
