Democrat Donna Lupardo and Republican Julie Lewis have agreed to discuss the issues facing Southern Tier residents on WNBF Radio's Binghamton Now program.

Lupardo was elected to the New York State Assembly eight years ago. She lives in Endwell.

Lewis is a lifelong resident of Vestal.

The candidates plan to join Binghamton Now host Bob Joseph for an hour on Tuesday, October 23, to talk about their visions for the Assembly district and for New York state. At the request of Lupardo and Lewis, the joint appearance was moved to one day earlier than originally planned.

Binghamton Now has extended an open invitation to all candidates for major races to make joint appearances with their challengers on the program between now and Election Day.

Stay tuned to News Radio 1290 WNBF and Binghamton Now for additional candidate discussions before you vote on November 6.
