Lucas Duda Back in Binghamton

New York Mets first baseman Lucas Duda went 2-3 with a pair of singles last night in a rehab assignment start in Binghamton.  He is scheduled to be in the lineup tonight at 6:35 when the B-Mets host the Altoona Curve in the third game of a three-game series.  Duda has been on the disabled list since August 22 after suffering a thoracic herniation in his back.

Duda played in 155 games in Binghamton in 2009 and 2010.  In 2009 he hammered nine home runs and banged out 29 doubles in 110 games. In six Major League seasons Duda has hit 95 home runs including 30 in 2014.  Before being injured he was hitting .247 with 21 home runs and 56 RBI.  So far this season Duda has played in 113 games with New York.
