Employees of Lourdes Hospital on Binghamton's West Side have been busy lately, preparing special crafts that will go on display at an upcoming show and sale.

About thirty tables are expected to be filled with a wide variety of crafts in the Lourdes Lecture Hall for the event, which will be open to the public at the end of the month.

Kelly Grivas of the Lourdes VIP Committee, which organizes the annual show, says all of the items are made by Lourdes employees, family members or volunteers associated with the hospital. She says there will be no items from outside vendors.

Grivas says the money raised from the sale goes to the VIP Committee, which provides special recognition to Lourdes employees throughout the year.

Jewelry, candles, pottery, handmade wooden crafts and many other items will be displayed and available during the sale.

The show will take place Monday, October 29, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday, October 30, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
