Lourdes Helps Fight Heart Disease With 11th Annual Basket Raffle

Lourdes and Lourdes staff held their 11th annual Basket Raffle at Center Court at the Oakdale Mall this past Saturday and Sunday.  Close to 50 baskets were on display for the raffle with all proceeds benefiting the American Heart Association's Heart Walk scheduled for Sunday April 28 at Binghamton University.

Lourdes staff contributed all the items that went into each basket.  There were theme-based baskets of all kinds including ones for gardening,dining out, fitness, kids sports and many more.

Along with the raffle basket display at the Oakdale Mall Lourdes also made the raffle available to visitors and staff at Lourdes Hospital cafeteria over a five-day span.

Lourdes has been a major sponsor and supporter of the American Heart Association's Heart Walk since the event began 24 years ago.  Winners are being notified this afternoon.
