Lots of Pot Seized in Chenango County

Chenango County Sheriff's officials say they've gotten 100 pounds of marijuana off the streets.

Officials executed a no-knock search warrant April 11th at a home on Pleasant Valley Road in Sherburne, following a month-long investigation.  In addition to the marijuana, officials say they found Oxycodone, $36,000 and drug packaging material.

52 year old Robert Reynolds is charged with criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

Reynolds was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $50,000 bail.

The Village of Sherburne Police assisted in the investigation, which is continuing.  Sheriff's detectives say additional arrests are pending.
