The Binghamton Mets are once again in the hunt for a playoff spot in the Eastern League.  Entering the series in Trenton against the Thunder The B-Mets are in first place in the Eastern Division.  The team is red-hot with a six-game winning streak and victories in 11 of their last 12 contests.  Fans are thinking that there could be some magic working with Manager Pedro Lopez and his squad.

Lopez is once again providing outstanding leadership.  Faced with plenty of roster moves and the looming call-ups of of rising stars like Michael Conforto, he continues to produce a solid club on the field.  Heading into the Trenton series Lopez has guided Binghamton to 290 regular-season wins...tops of any manager in B-Mets history.

Lopez led Binghamton to a franchise record 86 wins in the 2013 season.  B-Mets fans are hoping he adds substantially to that total as his team heads to the final stretch of the regular season.
