Restaurant Week is underway in Binghamton, offering three course lunch and dinner choices at reduced prices with a portion of the proceeds to benefit charities like the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club and the VINES program.

Local favorite, Little Venice is one of the restaurants participating in the 9th edition of the special promotion.

One of the entrees on the selected Restaurant Week menu is penne in vodka sauce.

Little Venice does not skimp on portions for the special promotion and there was plenty of leftovers (enough for two more meals) and barely room for the dessert course.

The first course featured several choices from salad and soup to Little Venice's signature 'meat logs' or bruschetta.

Dessert cups of coconut cream, tiramisu or salted caramel and chocolate gelato were available along with the Italian favorite: cannoli.

Restaurant Week continues through April 10.

A listing of participating restaurants and their select menus for the event can be found at www.binghamtonrestaurantweek.com.
