Federal, State, and local police officials announced today the arrest of a Lisle man and have charged him with robbing two Broome County banks.

Police say 43 year-old Samuel Parrotti II allegedly robbed the M&T Bank on Vestal Avenue in the City of Binghamton on July 16th and the NBT Bank on Route 11 in Whitney Point on August 1st.  Police are also continuing to investigate two other bank robberies that they believe Parrotti may have been involved in.

In each of the robberies, the male robber passed notes to tellers demanding money and indicating that the robber had a handgun.  Various amounts of money were taken from each robbery.

Parrotti faces a maximum of 20 years in prison for each robbery and fines up to $250,000.
