Lawyer Sentenced for Social Security Fraud

A Central New York lawyer will spend weekends in jail after getting Social Security Administration disability payments of over $247,000 while not telling SSA he was working for a Syracuse law firm and had also operated a law firm.

63 year old Christopher Chadick of Syracuse is also to pay restitution and serve six months probation.

Federal Prosecutors have not disclosed what Syracuse law firm had employed Chadick when he was supposed to be too disabled to work.
