Two suspects are in custody following an armed robbery at a West Side, Binghamton market.

City Police say two black males between 18 and 25 years old entered the Laurel Mart on Laurel Avenue at around 7:40 p.m. February 9, armed with a long gun, and stole the clerk’s wallet and some cash.

The pair fled on foot heading toward Charlotte Street but police reported two suspects in custody within hours.

The names of the suspects have not been released.

There were no reports of injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
