The Vestal Police Department reports it is investigating a number of larcenies involving vehicles.  The larcenies occurred during overnight hours of Monday, July 17th.

In a press release sent from Vestal Police  many of the larcenies that occurred in that time frame came from vehicles that were left unlocked.  In addition to vehicles being left unlocked property that was taken was left uncovered and clearly visible.

Vestal Police remind residents as well as visitors in the area to lock their vehicles and either remove any valuable items from those vehicles or put them out of view.  Police also are asking residents to be alert and aware of any suspicious people or activity in their neighborhood.
