A local anchor retail store on the Golden Mile in Bradford County, Pennsylvania is gone. Endless Mountain Supply in Wysox, which sold dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and other pets in addition to farm and gardening supplies, burned to the ground January 26 with most of the animals perishing in the flames.

Firefighters at the scene said it was expected the ruins would smolder for days.  The cause is under investigation.

Endless Supply was a large, local business along the main shopping strip leading into Towanda.  The Golden Mile also includes restaurants, smaller shops and a plaza containing a Tops Grocery Store and K-Mart.

The fire is believed to have started at around 9 p.m. and drew firefighters, utility companies and other first responders from over a dozen departments.
