Kevin McKeown was one of Binghamton University's all-time lacrosse standouts.  Now he returns to his alma mater as the head coach.  McKeown becomes just the fourth head men's lacrosse coach in program history.

From 2002 - 2006 McKeown starred as Binghamton's goalie.  He was a three-year team captain and was named the America East Player of the Year in 2004.  Also in 2004 McKeown earned USILA All-American honors..

The native of Brewster, New York served as the Bearcats' Interim Head Coach in the 2011 season.  McKeown also was Binghamton's assistant coach from the 2008-12 campaigns.

The returning Bearcat has been an assistant at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky for the past two seasons.  He replaces Scott Nelson who left the Binghamton post in May.
